The Novus Vendor App collects precise location data (GPS-based location) from vendors who use the application.Location data is collected strictly for operational purposes related to home sample collection services.

  • A vendor logs into the application
  • A vendor accepts a home sample collection job
  • A vendor travels to the customer's location
  • A vendor marks the sample as collected
  • A vendor updates job status at the diagnostic centre
Location access helps verify that the vendor has reached the correct location for the assigned service.

3.2 Purpose of Location Data

Location data is used strictly for the following purposes:
  • Verifying vendor arrival at the customer’s location
  • Ensuring proper completion of home sample collection services

3.3 Background Location Usage

If the vendor app is running in the background during an active job, the application may access location data to ensure accurate job tracking and service verification.Background location tracking is limited to active job assignments only.

Location data collected through the app is used internally by Novus Health Labs to manage diagnostic service operations and is not sold or shared with third-party advertisers.

3.5 User Control Over Location Permissions

Vendors can manage location permissions through their device settings.However, disabling location access may prevent vendors from accepting or completing service assignments through the app.
